At a long wooden kitchen table in an old Italian kitchen — where the smell of espresso mingles with a glass of red wine that is poured just a bit too early — the conversation often begins not with rules, but with trust.
And it is precisely there that our story about privacy begins.
The conversation at the kitchen table
At Kelvini Italian Artisan, we do not believe that privacy is something you “hide in small print at the bottom of a page.”
It is something you discuss as you would with family: openly, honestly, and without haste.
When you step into our space — digitally or literally via our webshop — you are, in a sense, joining that table. And just as we do not throw everything on the table for no reason, we also handle your data with care.
We only collect what is necessary to ensure your experience runs smoothly. No more, no less. As if your neighbour asks: “Would you like a cup of espresso?” — not: “May I take over your entire kitchen?”
What we do (and do not) do with your data
We use your data to enable three simple things:
- to process your order correctly and get it to your home
- to keep you informed about your purchase
- to make our service a little better, every day again
That’s all.
We do not sell your data. We do not rent it out. We do not share it with parties that have nothing to do with it. Your data stays with us at the table, not out on the street.
Storing with respect, not with a hunger for data
Just as you do not keep a good bottle of wine indefinitely “for someday”, we only keep data as long as necessary.
Orders, invoices, and communications are kept as long as the law requires and as long as it is necessary to assist you properly. After that, they are neatly removed from our system.

Yes, we also use cookies. But not the ones from the oven.
Our cookies help us understand how the website is used, so we can improve it. No sneaky observation, no digital spying behind the curtains — more like someone asking:
“Was the coffee good?” and remembering that for next time.
