A surprisingly soft, sunny taste experience based on 100% yellow Italian tomatoes and significantly less fat than traditional pesto. The iconic tomato specialist Mutti Parma redefines classic pesto with their innovative line of Pesto di Pomodoro. Instead of an excess of oil and basil, ripe yellow tomatoes form the base of this pesto, resulting in a creamy texture with a fine, natural sweetness.

The Pesto Giallo di Pomodoro is made with sweet yellow tomatoes (Pomodori Gialli), refined with Italian cheese, cashews, and yellow pepper for a harmonious and mild flavour. Also available in the variants Rosso (red tomatoes & Grana Padano), Arancione (orange tomatoes & Pecorino Romano) and Verde (green tomatoes & basil).

Culinary tip: Mix the Mutti Pesto Giallo directly into freshly drained, warm pasta with a tablespoon of cooking water. Ideal with tagliatelle, fusilli, gnocchi or as an elegant topping on crostini and grilled vegetables!
