Cannone has been known for generations for processing fresh vegetables from the Mediterranean climate of Southern Italy. The round red peppers are carefully hollowed out, traditionally filled with a hearty mix of tuna and capers, and then covered with oil to optimally preserve the texture and intense flavours.
