Urbani Tartufi White Truffle Sauce 80 g – Italian Tartufata Bianca
The refined taste of white truffle
There are ingredients that can completely change a dish. Truffle is perhaps the best example of this.
With Urbani Tartufi Tartufata Bianca 80 g you discover an Italian specialty where mushrooms, cream and two different types of truffle come together.
The sauce is produced in Sant'Anatolia di Narco, in the Italian region of Umbria. This area is known for its hilly landscape, forests and ancient truffle traditions.
What is Tartufata Bianca?
Tartufata is an Italian term for a preparation with truffle, often combined with mushrooms and other ingredients.
This white variant is distinguished by its creamy composition and the use of two types of truffle:
Bianchetto truffle (Tuber albidum Pico), 3%: an aromatic type of truffle also known as the spring white truffle.
White truffle (Tuber magnatum Pico), 1%: the famous Italian white truffle, beloved for its pronounced aroma.
The base consists of 40% mushrooms, complemented with cream, extra virgin olive oil and natural aromas.
What do you use white truffle sauce for?
Pasta with white truffle
Mix a small amount of Tartufata Bianca into warm fettuccine or tagliatelle. Optionally add a bit of butter and pasta cooking water for a creamy sauce.
Risotto al Tartufo Bianco
Stir the truffle sauce into a creamy risotto at the end of cooking and finish with Parmigiano Reggiano.
Bruschetta with truffle
Spread toasted Italian bread with a thin layer of truffle sauce. Delicious as a refined starter.
Omelette with white truffle
Add a small amount to a soft omelette or scrambled eggs.
Mashed potatoes with truffle
Mix the sauce into warm mashed potatoes for a special side dish.
