This wild-picked porcini mushroom comes from the richest forest areas of Italy and is known for its superior aroma and meaty texture. During the artisanal drying process, moisture evaporates, concentrating the characteristic nutty and earthy tones extremely. This 50-gram package is equivalent to approximately 500 grams of fresh porcini mushrooms. Use not only the soaked mushrooms themselves but also add the strained soaking water to your sauce, soup, or risotto for the true Italian flavour experience.

  • Ingredients: 100% Dried Italian porcini mushrooms (Boletus edulis and related group).

  • Allergens: None naturally present allergens. Gluten-free & Vegan.

  • Instructions: Rinse the dried porcini briefly under cold water. Soak the mushrooms in lukewarm water for 20 to 30 minutes. Drain and keep the fragrant soaking water (strain it through a fine sieve or kitchen cloth to remove any sand). Chop the porcini finely and cook them for at least 10-15 minutes in your dish.

  • Storage advice: Store in a cool, dark, and dry place in a well-sealed package or glass jar.
